Interview: pop-up stores as a chance for tenants and landlords

Berlin, 9 May 2016 – Pop-up stores are intrinsic to stationary trading: fashion labels as well as brand manufacturers  benefit from the flexibility of a temporary leasing. They can try out innovative and seasonal concepts. Furthermore, a limited-time offer often has a positive influence on the customers’ buying behavior. 

EB GROUP has been acting as landlord for pop-up stores since 2013: A commercial unit at Münzhöfe, located in Berlins central district Mitte, turned out to be the perfect location. Several fashion brands have already rented the unit for their temporary store concepts, e. g. Zurich bag label “Qwstion“ or Vienna jeans tailors “Gebrüder Stitch“. Since the summer of 2015, EB GROUP has been working with Go—PopUP, a community marketplace where brands and creative businesses can connect to landlords and commercial property owners to find temporary space.
