EB GROUP implements Code of Conduct

Berlin, 12 January 2017 – Our internal guidelines for compliance are combined within the newly released EB GROUP Code of Conduct: Based on our corporate values it offers all team members  clear guidance on how to deal with each other as colleagues and fellow employees as well as with third parties. „It’s very important that every one of our team members is aware of the relevant legal requirements for our company. We are all responsible for what reputation we gain amongst our business partners", says Niklas Dittberner, Compliance Manager at EB GROUP. „In order to properly meet this responsibility, we therefore are committed to following clearly defined principles. Furthermore we guarantee not only to meet professional standards but legal obligations as well."

The Code of Conduct focuses on specific areas in which the potential for rule violations or rather the potential damage is particularly high. The key areas are avoiding of conflicts of interest, protection against corruption and organised crime as well as protection of all corporate data. To strengthen our position as responsible company, our Code of Conduct also draws attention to the issues of free competition, fair working conditions as well as mutual respect within our company.

In the interest of our institutional investors all of our compliance activities are closely linked to the field of risk management. Both devisions work closely on the implementation of internal control mechanisms to meet the challenges of an increasing complexity in the Asset Management and Property Management business.
